LAKE GIBSON H.S. BAND TRIBE STAFF MEMBERS
Ms. Tabitha Lutz is a graduate from Florida Southern College with a BA in Music Education. She started her career as the director of bands and orchestras at Sleepy Hill Middle School from 2021-2024, and became the band director at LGHS in 2025. Tabitha is an alumnus of Lake Gibson High School, having been a part of the band from 2013-2017.
Tabitha shares a passion for everything music, having been involved in the band, orchestra, and jazz ensembles at Florida Southern. Being a Polk County native, her teaching experience centers around providing low brass instruction to schools in the area. She is also a member of the Florida Bandmasters Association, Florida Orchestra Association, and Florida Music Educators Association. While at Florida Southern she also served as their president of the National Association for Music Education.

Ms. Kendra Moxon is a native of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, which is a suburb of Pittsburgh. She Graduated from West Mifflin HS in 2012 and then continued her education at the University of Pittsburgh. Ms. Moxon graduated from The University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and English Literature.
Ms. Moxon was on the dance team in high school her freshman year and then was a color guard member her last three years of high school as well as all of her time with the University of Pittsburgh Marching Band.
Currently, she is an LGHS Faculty Member teaching Freshman and Sophomore English as well as Journalism which creates “The Legend” Year Book. In addition to her teaching position, she is also an Assistant Color Guard Coach, Assistant Girls Lacrosse Coach, sponsor for the G.A.M.E. Club, and the Bowling Club. Ms. Moxon lives in Lakeland, FL with her Fiancé Luke, and their three dogs Ollivander, Gimli, and Louie.

Tabatha is a 2006 Lake Gibson High School Alumni. Upon graduation she attended Hillsborough Community College to further her education. She then completed her Certified Nurse’s Assistant License at the Travis Technical School in Lakeland. She became credentialed as a Certified Patient Care Assistant at the Lakeland Regional Health Center. She currently works at Lakeland Regional Health in the Mother and Baby Department.
Tabatha was in the LGHS Band all four years of high school, and participated in the University of South Florida “Herd of Thunder” Marching Band for one year while going to HCC. She is married to her loving husband Jeff (m. 2007) and has two energetic children, Bryson, and Cora.

Jeff is a 2004 Lake Gibson High School Alumni. Upon graduation he attended Hillsborough Community College where he obtained an Associates in Science Degree in Radiologic Technology. He also attended the Lakeland Regional Health School of Radiology where he became credentialed in X-ray and CT. He currently works at Lakeland Regional Health as a Radiologic Technologist.
Jeff was in the LGHS Band all four years of high school, and participated in the University of South Florida “Herd of Thunder” Marching Band for three years while going to HCC. He is married to his loving wife Tabatha (m. 2007) and has two energetic children, Bryson, and Cora.

Mrs. Lori Baranowski graduated Florida Southern College and has a Bachelor’s of Music Education degree. She also graduated from Harrison School of the Arts as part of the first graduating class. Mrs. Baranowski marched with the Lakeland High School Dreadnaught marching band and the Jacksonville State University Marching Band.
Mrs. Baranowski is currently the band director at Lake Gibson Middle School. During her time at Lake Gibson Middle, her ensembles have consistently received straight superior ratings at the Florida Bandmasters Association music assessment. She previously taught at Padgett Elementary serving as their music specialist for 8 years. While at Padgett she produced school wide musicals and led the chorus. She has also worked with The Tribe since 2010.
